One of my job duties is after-hours Production Support. I've gotten 2 calls this weekend (both billable and luckily around 9am when I was already awake). Luckily, they were relatively easy fixes.
I just dread the 1-2am calls where you're there for hours! Been there, done that at other shops!

I'm on call 24/7, 365...
Fortunately, I'm good at what I do, so I rarely ever get called after hours... :)

Logan,
Did you architect your Prod. systems? I've "inherited" mine.
I'm good at my работа as well. Only been called 3x since April!
Just to keep in practice, I've been brushing up on my Russian with one of my customers, Yuri, in Canada.
We speak Russian back and forth a bit. My cube-mate gives me the weirdest WTH look when we speak! :D
<---- Minored in Russian in college (semi-fluent).

Mee too.. The fact that I answer my phone when it rings is likely one of the big reasons I still have my job.
I dont support production systems. I support the EVIL end users..
Most of them are millionaires BUT they are still evil end users.

I designed, architected and implemented most of our legacy front end systems as well as the 20 or so Oracle/Unix boxes we have in service...
That'd probably be why they don't break... :)
Inheriting other people's shitty work sucks.
