Tomorrow...I finally get to use my lightning for what I initially purchased it for...transporting my black '65 impala to the drag strip (redline this weekend)

I built a 'mild' stroked (+.25") 427 big block bored to 440.
2 weeks ago, I went to Yellowbelly for an initial shake down...but, as usual, somebody broke down toward the end of the night and i didn't get to run.:bs I think the last time I ran at redline DS (Royce City), it was in my 'late' turbocharged civic...("see...i told you it would handle that t3/t4...POP!...KNOCK...KNOCK...RATTLE...RATTLE...what 's that noice?"

I promised myself NO MODS for the lightning until it's paid off which seems like the year 2023.

Oh yeah...my lightning (blk 2k)...it's 'pretty much' stock.

i ran 7.90's:confused:

not bad for all motor street legal car. got some tuning to do now...perhaps knock off a 3-4 tenths before adding the bottle.

my lightning did an amazing job as usual pulling my car to the track.

hopefully i will have mpeg of race later this week.
