View Full Version : Will the Eaton M112 blower fit the 4.6 of the 96 era?

Curious to know if it is a direct fit? Are the 4.6 and 5.4 blocks about the same except for bore and stroke? Thinking about the Blowzilla by Kenne Belle, and putting my M112 on our 96 4.6. Thoughts?

If I remember right the 5.4 is a slightly wider engine than the 4.6 so you would haft to custom fab a lower intake. And since there was no 4.6 truck built in 96 I assume you were thinking of putting it on a Mustang or T-Bird where I think it would be impossible to close the hood unless you had a huge cowl on it.

Your best bet for a supercharger on a naturally aspriated engine is to buy a kit, you'll save yourself alot in headaches.

I also know it will stick up out of the engine bay by almost 18". I don't think it will fit on the heads though.

Good points and well taken, thats why they are just thoughts at this point! Yes I was talking about a GT mustang. Thanks for the info guys!
