I woke to the radio announcing the death of Johnny Cash this morning. It is very sad especially considering he just redid that NIN Hurt song about life and death.

On a related note John Ritter also bit the dust today..
Yeah, Sad, but I didn't expect him to last since June Carter Cash died June 12th! He needed her! She was a part of him!

Didn't realize he was only 71. Man, he looked 100. I used to have the Folsum Prison Blues album in high school. Nice rendition of "Egg Sucking Dog" on there. :cool:

Interesting connection between Johnny Cash and John Ritter. Ritter was the youngest son of country music legend Tex Ritter. 54 years old. Got to get back in to the gym. :cool:

Wow! that's sad to hear.:( He's been around forever.

I remember Johnny did that remix album a while back. "Rusty Cage" rocked!

A couple of years ago, the ex-gf of mine and I visited her family in Nashville and we drove past one of JC's mansions. HUGE!
