Got any pics?
Nothing up close, But I have a pile of pics of my truck.
Just click on my websight. The WWW button below my
signature.
If you're interested you won't be disappointed. This top
would cost you nearly a grand.
The only reason I'm selling it is because I'm buying the
pro-sport tonneau from Innovation.
If you need close-up pics let me know.

Garret - Mark #2, Sixipipes and I all have Snuglids.
They are all the same - They ROCK - According to Loganthey have a brand new PN that has some more features like a single lock but the price went up ...
You need this cover... LOL

Sounds like a really good deal. Is there any way you could post a few close up pics? I know what the lid looks like in general, as Doug said several of our regulars have them, and I am sure yours is in great shape, I just wanted to be sure, since its a hike from Dallas to Spring. :D
Thanks!

The only flaws are two or three small chips on the rear
lip of cover. It's just to the left of tailgate release.
They're so small you can't even see them.
If you'd like to see a larger view, Go to page 7 in my photo
album and zoom in on pic.

Throw it in JDM's trailer and he can haul it up here. There are also a lot of HALO guys coming up. For $500 bucks I could live with more than a chip:tu:

Paul Gambino said he was going, Don't know if he's hauling a trailer though.
That might be an option if Garett doesn't bite and paul doesn't mind
hauling it up there.

Garett, You got a PM.
Ron, got your PM. I took a close look at the pic and any damage was near imperceptible. I am going to think it over tonight if that's ok - can I let you know tomorrow? If I do get it, I think I will come down and get it myself, just to prevent any accidents on JDM/HALO/anyone else's part.
How difficult is the install? Did you do it yourself? I ask because I imagine I would have to install the brackets and such when I come down to prevent any chance it might fly off on the way back to Dallas. I get going pretty fast sometimes. :burnout:
Thanks Ron!!

The tonneau came w/ the truck when I bought it.
I believe it's just a matter of installing a few brackets.
We can install it at my place if you'd like.
Let me know.
First come first serve unless someone gives me their word,
Then I'll reserve it.

That'd be great! I am 99% sure I will be getting it from you - its the type of top I have always wanted, and its the right color! I'll let you know for sure tonight.
Thanks again!

There are two kinds of brackets to install these things. Screw on and bolt on. I have the bolt on and they are very easy to install. I believe that Sixpipes and Doug both have the screw on, so you would have to drill about 10 holes in the bed.

I'll take it. Now I just need to figure out how/when I am going to pick it up! :D
BTW, after I have the new cover on I will be selling my used Extang cover. I'll let it go cheap, and of course it will fit any single cab flareside F150 97-03.

Cool. I'll inform the other guy he's SOL.
You can pick it up at your convenience, Just let me know so we can
plan it. I'll order my Pro-sport tomorrow. It's roughly a 2-3 week
turnaround. It won't be a problem If you decide to pick it up before then, I'll just remove the bed-rug.
I might be able to make you a screeming deal on these 01 headlights & corners if your interested. They're brand new in the box.

Most Snugs mount using a hand full of self tappers on the front bracket. Then what looks like drilling or using 3/8" self tappers on the strut mount. Which is two per side about middel ways down the bed. Their location determines how far the cover opens/closes.

I appreciate the offer, but $500 is all I can spend - besides, if I got clear headlights it might look goofy without all the other 01+ treatment. :)
I cant make it down there this weekend, and the weekend after is LightningFest. IF I can make it down say, this next Wednesday(the 24th) would that work for you? Do you have a drill we can use to mount any brackets needed? Or is the bolt-on type that Mark #2 was mentioning?

Wednesday will work for me. The only thing is I work evenings.
I leave the house around 1:00PM.
If you can make it here by 11:00AM or so I'm sure we could
have it done w/ time to spare.
Let me know if you can't be here by that time, I'm always looking
for a reason to burn a vacation day.
Tools to do the job isn't a problem.
It appears all the hardware are self tapping screws.
We'll use my truck as a reference to drill proper location for screws.

Well, I don't think I could make it down there by 11 - its about 4 hours, and then figure in traffic
Are you sure you don't mind burning a vacation day? If you want to, I can still be down, probably closer to 1.

I don't mind. I'll be working all weekend anyway.
I'll submit my vacation form this evening.
If for some reason it's not approved I'll let you know.

I want everyone to know Garett worked me like a mule installing his
new tonneau. :hammer: It's cool, I believe we're both happy w/ the
deal.
There is definitly a bonus to this deal as well.
I tried to chase Garret down after two minutes of leaving my house.
(I was supposed to send fog lights back w/ Garett so he could give
them to Terry). I ran 20 miles down I-45 trying to catch him, But
finally gave up.
Well...upon my return I comensed to remove my bed rug and low &
behold, What did I find in an envolope under the bed rug?
Two crispy $100.00 dollar bills
Thanks Garett. My out of pocket cost for Pro-sport just got
cheaper. :tu:

You couldn't catch me because as soon as I hit I-45, I punched it up to 90+ and didn't look back. :D
Nice find on the $100 bills - some people have all the luck :tu:
