I just put on a single blade trotle body and troped in a K&N oem replacement filter with a air box mod (4" inlet from the bottom) now my boost gauge is peged. Dos this sound right? and should I factor the extra boost in when I go to pick out a new pully?

but I did the same thing.. the single blade helps at initial tip in due to more air, and it may give a few hp overall but not that much. The filter mod also helps, mine is Terry's Fast Air setup.. it too will give you some hp.. The stock gauge is notorious for not being correct. But at least you are getting the most you can out of your engine in a stock setup and it does feel good.. I did the microtuner setup and got some more power out of it without really risking my warranty.. If you want more, see Terry for the best hot setup..
Good luck and enjoy the whine

With the new filter and throttle body, your now moving MORE air with less restriction, via the stock air box is now gone. The weather is now cooler, so with the filter and blade it's not uncommon to hit 10 psi at peak. With my mods in cooler weather I should see 12 psi, but will hit 14 with ease. But this can cause all kinds of other BAD problems....Terrys the man he can fix ya up! Hope this helps:tu:

The stock gauge is a guestimate at best. Whenever you go over stock boost an aftermarket gauge helps determine actual boost.
