View Full Version : how much to reburn my flip chip

I have a Superchip flip chip that i need reburned. I have a 01 with a FTVB and thats it. Im putting a NX wet kit on it and will be spraying a 100 shot. Oh by the way my chip is for a 99 i believe but that shouldnt be a problem since its getting reburned.

100 bucks for a flip. Let me know how you want the programs any pulleys, exhaust etc. If you want a mild street 93 octane side and a 100 octane + NOS race side or just NOS etc..

No mods other than FTVB, and no muffler. Im wanting an aggressive tune on the street side and raising the shift points . On the Nitrous side i was thinking about pulling the shift points down to 5250 to be a little easier on the motor, and raising the rev limiter pretty high, just so i wont ever hit it on the spray. I would also like to have the torque reduction turned off.. Like i said earlier im gonna be spraying a 100 shot on my NX wet kit, Ive done alot of research and it seems that guys are running around 18 deg on the street side and 16 deg on the NOS side. 16 seems a little high to me with a 100 shot, but i might be wrong. Id like to get it done this week if possible. Thanks for the quick reply.

hey Ive got a flip chip off my old truck...a 4.2L v6 I think the code was an ac1. I got it from fordchip.com. can you reburn it for the new L ?

Thanks Terry, Im a UPS driver thats why im getting on here so late, but im wanting to get my goodies installed in the next couple of weeks. Im sure you know what timing i need to be running on both sides. I appreciate your replies..
