Anyone have this setup? and if so do they have pictures of it on there truck, how does it run and how much for it all installed?:burnout:

They are about 3500 installed depending on how you go about it. They are the straight up shizzy:bows Here are some pics of Robs setup I installed. I painted his black to match the theme of the truck. There are three in the club I know of:twitch:

If you have a 99 you are probably okay as long as the tune is safe and you keep it under 15psi.

If you're referring to Terry's shop, and the truck you saw was silver, then it was mine:D . Thanks for the compliment on the wheels(if indeed the truck you saw was mine). Terry's installing the Kook's Long Tubes on my baby as we speak.
In reference to the KB. It ABSOLUTELY ROCKS:nana2 ! It is exponentially more efficient than the Eaton. IMO, you don't need rods, unless you're gonna pump up the boost over 15psi. Also, any time you're making good power with a stock bottom end, it's just a good idea to stay away from sustained top end runs, especially in Overdrive. It puts too much stress on the stock rods. I do have most of the bolt-ons, ie...E-fan, Heat exchanger, CAI, T-body, etc...etc.
So far my truck has run a 12.05 @ 112 in 70* weather, @ 15psi. I'm hoping the Long Tubes will help alleviate some cylinder pressure and make more power with less boost, and propel the L into the coveted 11 second zone.

I sold the HRE's I had on the truck. I just put the Smoothie's on 'er last week. You are correct in that they are 18's. I miss the HRE's, but the Smoothies are growing on me.:tu:

What shop do you work at? Maybe you can help me figureout what gaskets i can use for my bassani shorty headers?

If memory serves me correctly they are non gasket self sealing Mustang style flanges:confused:

well when i bought the truck they were already on the L. They have some metal gasket on there now. If there self sealing would a gasket cause me to have a tick/leak?. My friends dad works at ford and said they looked like the oem gaskets. But we didnt take them off to find out. If there not supposed to have a gasket im gonna yank them out tonight.

I was thinking rfom the header to the cat pipe:hammer: There is no gasket there only at the header to head ports. Stock steel doesn't seal as well as the goo fiber or graphite aftermarket gaskets. They are thicker and mroe forgiving for warpy header flanges.
