Never heard of it....How well does it compare to the KB?

its uses an eaton rotor pack (roots) with a redesigned case. also the snout has double roller bearings to withstand more belt tension. for 2k i would save 1k more and get a kb or a little more and get a works

I don't post on here. I just like to keep up with what is going on in the L community. My dads got one (11 sec club) and I saw this thread so I went and found alittle more info that I saw a few weeks back. Hope ya'll like it.
As you all know we have been working with Charles at Magnum Powers in developing a direct replacement supercharger. We contracted him to build five for us with different porting in the new case design. Now, this supercharger has a whole new case and a new nose cone. The nose cone features a double roller bearing so it can support massive belt tension. Well, we finalized all aspects of the supercharger today and have now gone into production. They will be available in 6-8 weeks. Our final test was performed on the Muscle Mustange truck "The Fridge". We picked up 87 horsepower and 90 ft-lbs torque at 16 pounds of boost. This increase was measured against the stock Eaton. Both at 16 pounds of boost. We were also thirty two degrees cooler on the air charge temperature compared to the stock Eaton at the same boost levels. Tomorrow we will be doing another test. We will be taking the Magnum Power's blower to 20 pounds of boost. As you can see from the dyno graph this supercharger does not fall off in power at the top end. It made peek power at 5800 RPM's where I shut the dyno off. That tells me I can spin the supercharger harder to make more horsepower and torque. The cool thing about this is because it is a roots style blower you can spin these very hard and still not have the violent hit. It's just one continuous pull from about 3200 RPM's until you get out of the throttle so it more gentle on the internal engine parts. We have tested this for race duty already on Paul Gamino's truck which he has ran 11.20's with over 70 quarter mile passes. We have tested it on a Harley Davidson truck and now the magazine's truck. We will post results on the power gains at 20 pounds of boost when they come. Enjoy the video..
