I got off work this evening and picked up Laney to go somewhere in Frisco to hang out and eat dinner.
We're cruising North up Preston and this black ~67 Mustang GT 500 w/white "skunk-stripes" roars past me. I gas on it and get on his bumper.
He turns into the Best Buy/Frisco and I follow him. I ask him if it has a 390 (supposedly true motor to original). He said they pulled it and it has a 427/428 now.
He said it doesn't matter since I would beat him anyway in the 1/4. I told him there's only ONE way to find out. :D
Curious though, could he take me with the cubic-inch advantage with "old school" induction/lighter platform versus my stock '02 Lightning ~4,700 lb. "red-neck war-wagon"?
That car looks just like this, but black/white and with Gone In 60 secs. wheels/tires:

It has serious curb appeal in person and that thing sounded MEAN too! :nana2
