I have had a few people ask and when I had a job I didn't have time for it. But if you are interested in reducing road noise or improving your sound system. I will offer a insulation pkg for the task. I did it to my truck and really appreciate the difference. I used Dynamat but may use a different product that is more efficient for future use. Here are some pics of the job. I also work closely with a professional audio tech that puts the chain stereo shops to shame. It would start around $500 clams to insulate the interior. I installed my own sound system, it is a basic but effective system with a JL 10" sub, Boston components in the doors, Kenwood Excelon MP3 head unit, Excelon 10 disc chgr, and Fosgate amp. I also added Sirrus radio at a later date.

Good job laying the Dynamat...Which series is that, I don't recognize the gold lettering? I have installed a lot of that stuff in the past, and so far my favorite is the Dynamat Extreme with the foil backing. It's a little more tacky and formable than the orginal which means you don't have to use the heat gun nearly as much but it dampens the sound just as good.

Sorry for bringing this one up again, but I'm restoring an old '53 f100 and want to get some good insulation and road noise reduction in there to make it a daily driver. You mentioned using another product a little better than dynamat. Would you please share your experiences and what you'd suggest using.
Thanks!

The Dynamats smell like roof shingles, the Extreme is a little better since it is foil backed. I would also look at Cascade V-Block. A cheap alt is the foil instulation at Home Depot for about 6 bucks a roll.
