You could always look in the owners manual but I think it says 75-90W synthetic. If it grinds in turns add some limited slip snot.

I would have looked in the owners manual if i had one. ;) . I bought my L used and the dealer ship didnt have one.

Is royal purple any good? Was thinking about picking some up since my old import shop i used to deal with carries it. That and i can probly get it cheap since he owes me for helping him out all the time.

By the way whats the addy to your shop? Didnt see it on the site and was gonna take some time off next week from work to come meet you. Since i plan on doing some business with you in the near future

I'm looking in my '02 SVT owner's guide now and it says..quoting... the Rear Axle Lube. specs are Motorcraft SAE 75W-140 High Performance Synthetic Rear Axle Lube.

Ford Part # XY-75W140-QL and Ford Spec. WSL-M2C192-A.

Hope it helps. I'm looking at changing some drivetrain fluids soon with some pan mods.

he does
Performance research does most of its work out of shared space at a a general automotive shop in Duncanville

Hopefully in a few years we will see Terry open a gleaming new facility of his own

You need to add the limited slip additive. I'm not sure which one exactly to use. Royal purple has the additive already in it. Whether it is the best additive for our type I'm not sure.

I just went to autozone at lunch and got the lube and picked up some of that limited slip stuff.

My manager used to work at ford and ran a oasis deal and there was a small list of some warranty work done. One was a head replacement so i guess i go a new head?

But after i eat my chicken express im going to start on the seal.

The manual and the tag on the rear end in many cases speced diff lube..

If it was me I would likely go with what was on the metal tag attched to the pumkin

Look at my Signature. It took 2 bottles. 140 is the temp, correct?

75-140 is the viscosity range of the lubricant.:hammer:

Just finished my truck. Only took 2 hours because salesman kept coming back to my bay for inspections so they could sell some nasty used vehicles that are supposed to be sent to auction. Half of them failed anyway

But all is good now.
