I saw this while running parts for the vettes today. How's 9K off the premium Sivlerado SS:rll: Like my parts truck:cool:

Meh i wasnt impressed with the ss at all. I Work for chevy and to me its not worth the money. But if they come out with the regular cab 2 wheel drive, then chevy my sell more of them.

But were supposed to be getting a SSR in the next few weeks and im the first one to drive it. Man i love getting paid to drive the piss outa cars. Even tho they are chevys :beer:

I thought the ssr's were already out. I saw one on Arkansas rd in arlington by Lincoln Tech. I thaught it didn't look very impressive i would rather drive a mini.

btw I saw it like a month ago.:eek2: :confused: I was actually kinda shocked but i just figured they were selling them now:eek:

Yea there are some out there. But most of the ones that are are driven by Gm bigwigs. Most of the public owned ones are very very slowly hitting the streets. The SSR that is coming to the dealership i work at has been in the computer system labeled 'in transit for the past month' Our arlington plant is just now starting to get them for the local dealers.

But its gonna be the first one in burleson and i handle and inspect all the new cars before they hit the lot and test drive them.

I was kinda' hoping that black Silverado SS w/the Whipple here in Plano would've returned my calls/emails for a run at it, but to no avail.

BTW Terry... Billy Bob and Dwight ROCK in Slingblade! Don't know why but I've always liked the Coen Bros. films: Raising Arizona, The Big Lebowski, Fargo, O' Brother..., SlingBlade.

Intolerable Cruelty might be good, too.

I haven't driven the SSR, but after sitting in one and being around it in person, I don't think I am missing much. (Barely 300HP to move a truck as heavy as our Lightnings.)

Part roadster, part pickup, all ugly :vomit: . I saw the thing they did on Trucks! about the SSR, and that show has got an absolute boner for this thing. Another ugly thing not worth $40K+.

They have one sitting on the showroom floor of Jupiter Chevy. Purple is definitely awful. Not impressed at all...

Finaly got our ssr in at work. Was listed in the computer as intransit for about 2 months and showed up with transport damage. But ugly as hell in person if you ask me.

Ill try my best. Might wait for our next one, since this ssr is already on the show room floor. One of the sales guys wants to race his ss silverado with a flow master. :evil
