Bought a 92 conv with idle problem it idles @ 1300. I have not had much time to look at it but its not the odvious.

My wife's '91 GT did the exact same thing. They never could figure it out. Seemed more prone to do it in cool weather, but only after the motor was fully warmed up. Only "cure" we ever found was to shut the car off, and re-start it. Then it would idle at 800 or so.

This one starts off about 1600 and when it warms it drops to 1300. It is like that all the time turning it off and restarting does not effect it.

Most likely a vacuum leak. I had one on my K5, took me about a year to find it. Replace all lines to the intake manifold, cheap and probably need replacing anyway.

Moonshine, What things did you try and fix (computer, egr, etc....).
