just ordered it today, but wont have it for about 1-2 weeks.... but its all good, i dont even have my truck yet... lol

this is another L with the same hood, mine will be black of course

Nice hood. You don't think a red hood would look good on your black truck?? :D

well my truck has johnny lightning dual ram air already... has a box that the air is forced into....

IF this hood was functional, would it be any better than what I have already?

IF this hood was functional, would it be any better than what I have already?i have that ram air kit too and mine scrapes on curbs. also hotter air is near the ground because of the pavement. might be nice to get a fresh breeze from above. I remember seeing a hood that did that. i think sixpipes posted it. it basically was that hood with fiberglass molding over pvc pipe that ended at the airbox.

also, do you guys recomend anyplace to get it painted? i just called 2 random people in phone book... 1 said about $600+ because they would have to blend the fenders.... the other said no they wouldnt have to blend fenders and about $250-$300

nice hood, I have a similar but mine was allready functunal from the
factory, it comes in to an airaid box.
