Yeah, you got the Cadillac 1-2 shift going on:crying: . Monster BS:hammer: . I am building Bobby's tranny next week. I found some new HD tranny parts I am going to use. It is expensive but worth it IMO. One of the main weak points of the 4R100 is the intermediate clutches there are only 3 paper frictions in a stock setup. When you eliminate the torque reduction with a chip it hits them hard. The new HD intermediate setup I am using is 4-7 plate fiber frictions. But where the stock setup is 30 bucks, this one is $150 cost! So I won't be the cheapest rebuild but I will be one of the best:tu: Rob is running 11's on my box :bows .
Oh yeah, the pic is Tim's classic burnout, I wouldn't do that to your truck:twitch:

Ron,

When you and I were at Ennis two weeks ago, during one of your passes, I thought I heard the tranny "slide" into gear on the 1-2 shift. I mentioned it to you, but you didn't seem concerned, so i figured maybe my ears were playing tricks on me.

I'm sorry to hear the news. Hope you get her figured out quickly.:tu: I'll talk at ya later.

I remember us talking about that. Hell, the darned truck is pulling 12.1xx passes and 12.2xx passes. I really thought that with times like that, the tranny couldn't be acting up.

The silver lining in this is the reasoning that this means if the tranny is running sub-par and she is running E.T.'s like that.....get the tranny fixed and poof...11's:banana: .

In talking to Terry, with the 111 mph trap speeds may be indicating that the upper end is pulling good. I dunno, stay tuned though...it could get interesting.:eek2:
