I've had my 04 for about 3 weeks now. The permanent tags are in but where does the front one go? I really don't want to screw up the looks on the front. What have some of you other lightning owners done. Texas requires a front license but I see alot of other cars without them "corvette" for one.

They wont bother you if you dont have it on... Havent had any probs....

But they will write you a ticket if your plate trim covers ANY PART OF THE WORD TEXAS on your plate... trust me, they will :beer:

Thanks .. I did'nt think it was a big deal. Trying to keep a low profile in an L is hard enough. Did'nt want to give the cops any reason to pull me over. They'll have plenty of other opportunities anyway :)[FONT=Arial]

I'm running no plates on the front, Ohio plates on the back AND the SVT tag frame on the back! :d

You could zip tie it to the lower grill - seen that done
or you could get the bumber mount - drill the bumper and take away an excuse to get pulled over
