July Meeting- 2nd thursday?

Are we moving the meeting to the second Thursday in July due to the holiday? Just a thought.

That would suck, I have other meetings every other Thursday of the month. Move it back a day to Wednesday the 3rd would be my vote.

But then, I'd still prefer Thursday the 4th. What's more american than drinkin' beers and pickup trucks? Hmmmm.... Add some apple pie, a flag, and some explosive's and ta da! The perfect holiday evening! :D

I vote for a different weekend than that of the 4th. I have friends/family/lake/work plans that weekend and would be unable to attend otherwise. :D

Any gathering will be unofficial over the holiday as many will be unavailable. I make a motion that we have the official meeting the following Thursday like we did for Fun Ford Houston. Maybe even Papa's BBQ in Dallas? Not sure if another club meets there then..

Well, I'll be there...along with my 8yr old. Thursday also happens to be out annual "bring your child to work day" and I won't have time to take her home after work. Good thing we're not going to Bonedaddy's...cause she'd prolly rat me out! I'll use this opportunity to subject her to the world of Lightnings.

We've got a few more pieces of the paper to write, editing to do, draw up some slides for a presentation, etc., etc., etc. 14 more days of this chit and it'll all be over. Soon enough. Ya'll ready for 8/17?

:) I enjoyed meeting all of ya'll there last night. I learned a little bit more about mods and other lightning stuff. Now I have mod fever!!!! I just talked to the my service advisor today and the tranny came in!!! I should have the L back by this afternoon!!
