But the best is taking a digital water temp gauge and using it for your IC fluid. I have that on mine and LOVE it.

I'm looking at getting a boost, Fuel pressure, and either an AFR or an EGT (pyrometer) for my three. I'm trying to decide which series I want to go with first. That was the reason for my post earlier today:

The EGT is sweet.... It tells alot about the tune on the truck. Like it alot plus its backlit. Terry hooked mine up for me . I think Rocks has one in his also. Had an A/F ratio but Terry made me think otherwise so I sent it back. I didnt think I could deal with that light bouncing back in forth all the time. :nono: :bs

A/F gages are nothing more than http://www.svtgalleries.net/gallery/data/500/226153.gif . Get something that can actually tell you some usefull info about your motor.

EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature)....be sure and put the temp probe on the #5 cylinder exhaust, that is going to be the hottest cylinder.

Sounds to me like you really only need 2 gauges. :throw:

yep, boost & EGT. I have the phanthom series. Doesn't lunar mean glow in the dark??? I dont know if "I" could deal with that either if thats the case because, at nite they would be "always on." Terry put both of mine on the dimmer. Couldn't have been installed any better than that. Very satisfied.... And also get the boost gauge that says 20psi and not 30!!!
You're gonna have more of a sweep with a 20 as opposed to a 30. It just looks better and its easier to glance at when you're pullin away from one of those SRT-10's!!!!! :evil

I desided to go with the volt meter. I know its not the best one but, its a good one to have!
