I just wanted to give you a friendly reminder about the brakes. I am still thinking Monday morning. Please let me know if their will be any problems getting it done. I am going to have to hang out and wait. My ride share program is off center due to vacations.

I'll send you some info. I can install them while you wait but the caliper painting will be an all day thing. So we can do the brakes Monday and coat the calipers at a later date. It needs to be warm enough to cure properly.

I like that plan. Is it very difficult to pull them later for painting?

I am really excited about the new brakes. I am assuming these will help with my brake fade peoblem. I sh!t ya not...at Hallsville last weekend, I noticed it getting worse and worse with each pass. Today, I was romping around town with the "cold air boost system" and it started happening again.

I sure did, all four rotors, pads and new calipers. Man these are some great brakes for 500 bucks. I checked around and it would have cost more than that for stock brakes.

Terry is alright. He did my plugs too, and only charged me 100 bucks total for the Densos...installed.

Thats what he put on mine and I think Marks as well.. after you get them broke in... they stop like a mofo... love them.. I have posted before that they have kept me out of a couple of accidents to date... well worth the cash even though they arent Brembos..

Pretty cool, don't ya think? He washed my truck too. Shampoed the carpets and seats. He also ran the brakes on a special machine to keep me from having to break them in.

Did the same for me too.. cleaned the windows, wiped out the ashtray, and lubed the seat tracks too...
But the brakes look cool and they stop great.. I am so happy with them, plus I sold my old ones to Doug. At least I got something for them..

My complimentary gold engraved over and under 20 gauge shoots great too. I can hardly wait to use the all inclusive dove hunt for 2 he included and try out the new shotgun.

DanaMy tires and engine where in good shape and my windows are already tinted, so he put a Kenne Bell blower on it in place of the uneeded items. I'll tell ya what though, that new V1 radar jaming system he threw in sure works good with the new $500 EBC's. Did I mention the Brembo Calipers he installed as part of the deal?

Being single, I took the girls, but it was three instead of two. He must be upgrading his services.

He also proved himself a true friend. He mentioned that he was going into Dallas to get a B.J. He offered to go ahead and get two, so he could come back and give me one. I declined that part of the deal. I figured he needed to save that service for his customers with Red trucks.:throw:
