12/17 10:29a Just wondering if these are the same brakes (http://ftw.truckmoxie.com/ipg.asp?sid=2&cid=2)? My rotor is below spec and need new one on 1999 Ford Lightning..Figured i would call a junk yard and grab some slightly used ones off another truck?? Anyone have any other suggestions where to get cheap ones? Im broke already blew all my money on christmas gifts for the family. :)

No, they are not the same. L rotors are slightly thicker and offset a little more. The scary part is that the regular rotor will fit, but will rub slightly on the caliper bracket (don't ask me how I know).

Autozone had the cheapest replacement at like $70 or something. Just make sure you take the old one with you and lay them flat on the table next to each other. They are deceivingly similar.

I have a pair of front rotors (takeoffs) from my 99 when I upgraded my rotors to EBC's. They are still in good shape- I'll take $70 for the set

Another option is a factory replacement Brembo rotor from TireRack @ $70 each or what Ken mentioned.

No- 12.1" in the front and 13.1" in the rear. I thought you were needing the fronts for some reason. Can't help you on the rear ones.

They are the same rotors and calipers used on the F250 Super duty of 99 it that helps your part hunting

Order one for a 2wd 99 Expedition rear. F250 brakes are 8 lug hence the Super Duty name.
