Let me give two choices, and then leave it to the majority opinion to decide. Either go back to TBC Indoor Racing, or Hooters in S. Arlington.

My vote is on Hooters. Its a little more cost effective, not that I dont love indoor racing. Thats just the way it is! :D

Actually, I guess I could add a third option, but it might be better suited to a Saturday meet sometime. Apparently, a number of folks enjoyed the clay pigeon shoot, drink beer, and hay moving meeting we had, so if folks wanted to we could have a deal something like that and burn some hamburgers on the grill.

Yea, right? I guess since Jim is coming down again, we are *technically* waiting on him, so a Meat & Skeet would definately be in order.

Is this an either/or thing? Can we have the regular Thursday meeting and an extra-cirricular event like meat & skeet?

Can do. I'm pretty swamped through April, and the first weekend in May is out also, so I was tentatively thinking May 11 at the earliest.

Re. the April meeting location I figured I'd give it another day or so for others to vote before we make a final decision, but at this point it's sure looking like Hooter's in Arlington.

Hooters sounds good to me. I have only been to one meet at Bone Daddys. The last time and it was the best time I have had talking to other Lightning owners. Hope to see everyone at Hooters. Hopefully the one in Mesquite. :)

Dang, that is going to be a long drive for me. I wonder how many minutes it is from Mesquite to there? I am exactly 2 hours and 10 minutes from home to Mesquite. Looks like a solid 3 hour drive for me.:(

You could take 30 to loop 12 to I20 and come to the west side of Arlington.Or 30 to 360 up to 20 and head west to CiCi's:confused:. Traffic and all,an hour or so from downtown:(

Hey Guys,

I hope to make one of these meetings soon. Everything is just extremely hectic this week. Gettin' ready for the races this weekend. I will be there from Fri morn to Sun night. It is gonna be a blast. I also like the idea of the meet and skeet. Don't laugh, it has been a while since I had the opportunity to shoot some clays. I may miss a lot of 'em!!!

Also, if it looks like rain, the L doesn't get out of the garage!!!
