Any of you see this Dateline story last Friday? http://msnbc.msn.com/id/3738415/ Our trucks don't look to healthy with an offset 40 MPH impact.

I didn't see the story, but I'm heard our Ls don't take an off-set crash very well at all.
Check this out: http://www.wsbtv.com/news/2611047/detail.html. Look closely, that IS a L.

The important thing to keep in mind here is that the IIHS, that administers these tests, is not a governmental organization. It is a non-profit paid for by the insurance industry, and the industry looks to the IIHS test results to set rates. Coincedence that the F-150 was the most sold vehicle in America recently, and that in the last year or two sold more than Chevy and Dodge combined?
A rate hike to F-150 owners is money in the bank.
