Cool! What long-gun you taking? The .223 AR? It's always a good idea to take a side-arm for any CQB needs. Can't go wrong with the .45 Gov't Model. :banana:

One of these days, I want to get up to CO/AZ for some elk/mule-deer action.

I understand that the biggest Boone/Crocket and Pope/Young elk come from the N. Rim of the Grand Canyon.

I saw some large mule deer at the sand dunes last weekend. I almost caught one with the 4 wheeler but he cheated and cut throught some rough stuff. I may just take my M-9 bayonet and a book of matches:tu:
