Sylvania HID Conversion

I think my next mod might be the Sylvania HID conversion. I've been looking at some of the prices everybody is paying, and can you say ouch! I see through my company discount I can get a set for $375, I never realized that this was a pretty good deal. The only bad part is that tomorrow is my last day here at Siemens, but my dad still works here so I think I will be able to use him when I get the money to do it.

Really? I probably need to shop around a little more if that's the case. I've seen posts on F150online of people bragging about finding a deal of $425 and $450. After seeing those, I figure that I had a good hook up...maybe not then. I also saw where I can get the silverstars 9007 too for $17 each, I might do that until I can get the money for the HID system. I know autozone wants $22 or something like that.

i cant see myself paying $400 for blue lights.... but maybe $22... do those fake HID really work? i remember i went to Wal Mart and bought some of those blue bulbs one time for my gixxer and they didnt look ANY different than original, not even a little bit

i thought hid is illegal now accept for cars manufactured previously with them? maybe ive just smoked too many :evil
