Is the Airforce one air intake modification worth the $. It looks good. Has anyone track tested this unit? are there other air flow options available?

I have a Volant intake system and then I added a ram air intake to that and I can tell a world of difference.

Any open element works well. Just beware of those using a box that seales to the hood and fender hole. The fender is the restriction you are trying to get away from:hammer:

When I put in my ram air I cut my fender hole larger to accomidate the 3 inch pipe to run through it. You can not see it and all you see is the Volant box it looks pretty sweet i like it alot and it helped me with my gas mileage.

I got a airraid box and took off the front plate to open it up a little. As for the ram air i just made my own with 2.5in vacume tube ran it through the fender to a chrome tip rite into the open end filter. The other end i just attached a 6in rubber air catch. I guess you can call it that. Anyway it works well:d

what about cutting out the bottom of the stock air box? and maybe a k&n drop in filter? same results?

Anyway you can force air down its mouth is always good. I dont know if you can get a tube under the box. That would be pretty tough.
