Is 30,961 a good price for a new '04? Thanks.

Nope. I was part of a recent deal for a 04 DSG that ended up at $28,900.00 Keep working on that dealer and they'll cave in. Good Luck!:tu:
I got a 04 sonic blue lightning with the Xplan for 29.9k 4 weeks ago.

Bob Tomes in McKinney has a black and a white that they are willing to deal on. You can get a better price than that.

It's just north of San Antonio. It's an extremely boring little town. When I bought the L, it was the town talk at the doughnut shop!
P.S. I got my L at Jordan Ford in San Antonio.

I've been to the HEB in Bulverde, :)
actually I've been to almost 100 different HEB's in central & south texas. (Side job for generic/store brand vending machines) Austin, San Antonio (44 stores there alone), Laredo, Eagle Pass, Del Rio, Kerrville, Marble Falls, Rockdale, Lampasas, Waco and every where in between. This side job got me an extra $3k to put with my down payment for the new '04. was actually in between stops on San Pedro when I stopped into Northside Ford in SA to get it.

When I pass through my home town (Madill, OK./Lake Texoma - 3 stop lights :eek2: ) to visit my parents, I get all these "What-The-Hell-Kinda'-Truck-Is-That ?!?" stares from the locals.:burnout:

Theres a black 03-04 at david mc david honda in irving off of 183. Saw it last night while going to dallas. Looked like it was in good condition. Would have stoped and looked to see how much they were asking but it was raining pretty good.

Man,with the prices you guys are stating, they seem to be giving them away.
3 years ago the dealers were not budging off MSRP.I paid asking price of $27,900 with 3,000 miles on it. But at that time Lightnings were scarce so they could ask more, now they are everywhere from 5 years of production. Oh well mine is more than 1/2 way paid for  27 payments and I get the title :tu:
