exhaust leak

Terry, what can I do to fix this leak?? It sounds nasty. :hammer: I know you told me to weld thu sucka up but I chose to use clamps instead. pep boys sell two bolt clamps. They are shaped like a U. Are these better?? I did what you said........Run it wide open to get it hot and then put it on the rack and tighten them. It worked for a few days, now its back. Didn't know it was that bad until the ol'lady drove away in it :hammer: HELP!!! :cool:

Clamps leak bro, you can try to change styles or double clamp if there is room. Otherwise weld the biatches. You saw Rob's on the lift, even his fancy Bassani SS band clamps leak. They have even blown off the catbacka time or two:hammer:

i just had mine tack welded and left the clamp on, that way they can easily break the weld if needed

I tacked them so they don't blow off but they can still leak.
