I have an Accord as a daily driver. Good gas mileage and great for rain and the wintery season. What do you drive as a daily if you have one?

Hey! I thought you sold it last week.

I work out of a 2002 Dodge Crew Cab 1/2 ton with the factory 20's. It actually makes a nice work vehicle (lots of interior room). Gas mileage is pretty sh!tty though. I too, believe my L gets better gas mileage than that anemic little SOHC 4.7L V-8 in the Dodge.

The fark head said he bought a GN instead, and the guy before him tried doing something called a "in and out" through a dealership salesman he knew. But that didn't fly either. Destined to keep it I guess, I sure would like my cash back soon though:hammer:

I'm doing the work myself, except for the parts where I had to go to the machine shop. I bought a used motor and tranny to rebuild about 5 months ago and have been working on them a little here and there and just now getting close to finishing.

I put all new syncronizers and bearings in the tranny. For the motor, I had bored with new pistons, the rods shot peened, rotating assembly balanced, head ported and polished, and a mild cam built for me. If it moved I replaced it or rebuilt it, and I have some silicon rubber hoses coming to replace all the orginal rubber.

Ok, no body laugh...well maybe a little...it had 110hp at the crank factory, I'm hoping to see about 120 to the wheels when I'm done.

Good deal. Hondas are real easy to wake up and make a peppy little car. My friend had a old lude with the 4 wheel steering. It was a beast and took alot of abuse. If you need any parts and cant find them hit me up. I still have a few contacts in the import world

Here, it's a Green '95 Thunderbird - 4.3L, auto, moonroof.

Laney volunteered it for me to drive to downtown Dallas for 3-weeks to keep the miles off the L.

I really wish it was that easy...too much money lost when I do that. Also since it's about 70 miles round trip from home to work without any other miles added having a daily driver is better for me in the long run. I don't want the L to have 1,000,000
miles on it so soon. (plus I'd like to keep it & get a Gen 3 in 2-3 years :tu:  )
