A Damn Good Meeting!

Wow, I arrived late by the parking lot being full. But it was a great time there with most of ya'll:D . It had to be one of the highest attendances in a LONG time:beer: . A lot of the founding members were there including Logan, Dennis, Doug, Moonshine, Insane Mark4, Tony, the South Arlington posse(Steve, Jeff, Mel, Jake, BigB, Bobby, Sayle, not Rob:hammer: ). Adam, The Snow Folks, Gavin, and Goerge brought the HD supercrew out big pimpin':cool: . Other than the lost orders and NEW waitress it was great. Adam and Bobby stayed late for another pitcher and search for the digits. I saw a few of you guys on the way home and I must say I was dissapointed:rll: . Until the WH, later!

It was a pretty good turnout. This was my second meet and had a blast.

The waitress looked pretty scared by us and when she saw more sitting down she didnt look to happy. But she did alright for her first big group.


Id have pics up but my digi cam went dead after the first pic. :hammer: Got it to turn back on but the flash wasnt flashing as bright as it should so the 3 pics i got turned out like crap. :vomit:

I went outside at one time and counted 19 Ls and I know there were more that showed up later.

We drove over 60 miles one way in rush-hour traffic from Frisco to south Arlington, so we don't want to hear ANY more b#tching about driving distances to TALON meets. :D

Had a blasssst, cought up to a few lightnings on the way back , red gen1 on 820(Dennis), then Silver gen2 (Doug), then Black gen1 on 183, then a black gen2 on I35 & Walnut hill.

BTW, if I had nailed it on the ramp I'd have only done about 3/4 throttle out of deference to the water running across part of the ramp. Woulda' been a bit embarassing to hit the 2-3 shift at WOT in a slick spot. :D

Well, it looks like a lot of the WWFB crowd couldn't make it(except for 6er and Doug), due to work related issues. I plead the same, conference call with a Japanese supplier to get ya'll cheaper DLP TVs. Sorry I couldn't make it, and really it wasn't the location.
