Group Picture February 22!!!

Group Picture Date Set!!

PICTURE DETAILS:

The 2004 group picture will be taken on February 22, 2004 (rain date February 29, 2004)!! We will be meeting at the top of the parking garage at the I2 building (just south of I-635 on Luna….directions to follow).

Plan on being there no later than 1:00pm on February 22, as the picture will be taken at exactly 2:00pm. We will begin setting everyone up at 1 and all trucks will be in their final positions for the picture by 2.

We will basically set the picture up on a first come, first served basis. We will have all Gen 1s in front, and Gen 2s will be behind them.

Any other members with vehicles other than Lightnings are invited as well (Harley trucks, Maruaders, etc). However, for the initial shot it will be Lightning only. After all Lightning only pics are taken, we will move those members’ vehicles into position at the back of the assembly and snap a few more.

When you arrive, be aware that there will be people directing you as to where to go. We will direct you where to go and will direct you in for the picture.

LUNCH DETAILS CHANGE OF VENUE as of 02/17/04:

Since Humperdinks on Northwest Hwy cannot accommodate a group of the size we are expecting, we are going to have to change venue and will have lunhc at Pappa's. We know this may upset some folks, but it is going to be the most convenient place that will be able to accommodate our group. Lunch will immediately follow the group photo.

OTHER:

I will try to put together a flier with these details and post it up here (or someone else can do it). If you see any Lightnings out there that are not part of the club, please invite them to the picture shoot. The more Lightnings we get the better, and we could drum up a little more membership in the process.

Doug is considering printing 8x10s of the group photo at this time. He has not determined if he will do it or how much it will cost, but it is under consideration.

Please make plans to be there! We need to get the biggest group picture to date!

iv got possibly 3 other Ls that arent in our group that might come.... but I told them that we were having the pic blown up to a large poster size for their garage... for some reason I thought I had read that..... is this possible? i was sorta looking forward to that... i think that would be bad ass!!! maybe its a way for Talon to make a few $$... charge us $50 or whatever u have to get your money back plus a few.... im sure just about all 60 of us would buy one.... i would for sure
