Does anyone in Dallas coat the rotors in stock Super Chargers

Stupid question but why would you want to coat the rotors in the S/C?

Don't quote me on this (no mechanic here), but I seem to remember reading that with over-spinning the blower with bigger pullies, you generate more heat with a stock Eaton resulting in the rotor coating flaking.

It flakes off on fully stock Ls as well. Ive seen a few pics of stock L intercoolers with the coating flakes sitting on top of the intercooler.

the newer teflon coatings dont seem to do it as bad as the older blowers (99-00) the newest ones have the graphite coating
