Outsource wheel powdercoater guy?

Can you get a set of wheels powdercoated? Did Jacob use your same guy?

...and if so, what's the average turnaround? I'm gonna need some wheels pretty darn quick. 20" Boyds take up to six weeks to make. :eek2:

I just paint them, the powder coater I know charges about 200 bucks a wheel:eek2: . Painting is a one day job, PC is abotu a week process.

Jacob had his wheels painted at a place in Dallas. I don't remember the name of it, but maybe he'll chime in. I can say that they did an Awesome job:eek2:! The paint is smooth and consistent, and they painted the backs of the wheels as well as polishing the lip. Check with him on pricing. I know he took his wheels off and delivered them to the company.

What'd you do with your chromies?

Hey padna! I've been out of it the last couple of weeks as I'm moving back to A-town. :D Hope you've been doing well, and by the looks of your last Hallsville trip, you have. You're gonna kill someone with that thing. :eek2: :d

I've currently got the chromies for sale/trade, but I don't have them posted here. It's been mainly word of mouf. :) I had inquired about some Boyd Smoothies in the 20x10, but they are six plus weeks to get them. The 20" Shysters are in a warehouse in GP but, albeit 20" Boyd's would be cool, it would be hard living without the DR's.

SO...I'm gonna give the black wheels a shot. Almost reminiscent of the red 93 Mustang Cobra R's with black wheels. If it doesn't turn out that great, then I'll try something else. I've got my factory grilles painted black w/ clearcoat, and a red Ford oval. The black wheels may 'set it off', but who knows. Or, it could look totally S.O.C. :D

I need some factory 01-02 wheels if anyone has some for sale. As well, what did Jake do with his caps? Can they be painted?
