Cleaning under the hood

Ok guys... I'm trading in my truck tomorrow for a L. I'm cleaning up my truck to help with the resale. Its a 98 F150. What is the best way to clean under the hood? Is it ok to use low pressure water to clean under the hood?

I take my '97 F150 daily driver to the car wash before changing plugs or Oil.
And it's high pressure.
Just stay away from the air intake .......... No worries! :D

Light spray of Simple Green or the tire foaming stuff and then the final rinse cycle at the car wash works wonders
