I want to upgrade my exhaust system and just want to put a set of bassani mufflers in the place of my one flowmaster that came in the catback kit and is way to quiet. Will it be okay to keep the tips and have them hooked up to the tips or will they not fit? Heard them the other day in person and love the sound but just want the mufflers or order a set of magnaflows not sure which ones to get yet? Need some input on a better sounding set of mufflers on stock pipes>?

Well,
I went from a stock '02 setup to the PR Loud-Mouth. It's a little loud for some of the elder members. :D

Hey Ronald,
Are you going to be at the next Talon meeting? I would like to hear the Loud-Mouth in person.

We'll be there.
Also, not to be a wise-#ss or anything, but I don't think they made Ls in 1998. :tu: :D
Edit that profile, young man! :hammer:
What do you do with computers? I'm in IT.

I bought my 03 last October and had Terry (www.performanceresearchonline.com (http://www.performanceresearchonline.com/)) put on his Magnaflow mild system while I still had my paper plates. It sounds great and I love the bubbling sound when I let off the throttle.
BTW, I guess I'm one of those "elder" members".

Sorry, I didn't make the same Andy connection from lunch with Garett from my first post. Too much stuff been going on here lately.
Be sure to park out there by Garett's L at PBSG to keep it company for me - TALON style ! :tu:

Another TALON geriatric with the PR school-bus muffler. :nono: :D
Decelerating with the PR Big-Mouth has a pretty good rumble to it. I love it! :burnout:

I had a duel inlet and out let magnaflow put on this weekend and it is not any louder than my flowmaster I had on there. Not sure if magnaflow is what I want. I just need to hear the wild setup in person on stock headers and stock cats and pipes. Not going to do it all at once. The guys who put it on said I should go with a set of race series flows and would be way louder. Not sure what race series would be best but maybe the 40. I have heard the setup of the wild system on the web but would like to hear it in person to get a better fell for it.

Why don't you come out to Ennis this weekend? There are a few of us running that set up. Plus this is a good opportunity to run the truck and represent.
