Dennis,
Did you roll down your windows when you went through the tunnel in Mobile, to listen to Gorila sing? I lived in Pascagoula, MS(about 30 miles West of Mobile, off of I-10) for about 10 years. I've been across that stretch of I-10 more times than I can remember. I've also toured the Alabama(battleship), some years ago. I think I was in the 5th or 6th grade. It was pretty cool.
Oh well, drive safe and have fun. Keep us posted.;)

Rob

The tunnel is really cool. The speed limit in there is 40, but I couldn't help turning the overdrive off and goosing it a couple of times.

Hello everyone,
I'm back now. Thanks for the good luck wishes, but yours truly got treed out in the first round. It sucked because I finished 4 thousandths off my dial in. I have to stop being so paranoid about red lighting in these events. I have a bad habit of waiting a little longer than I normally do to launch.
Dennis had managed to get to the second round when I left. I haven't started reading yet to see how he finished.
No magnum powers blower yet. JDM said he sold the hell out of them and is waiting for more:( .
That tunnel ya'll are talking about is great. I rolled down my window for a couple WOT sound tests.....unbelievable. I am pretty sure people in the cars around me want to beat my arse....LOL.
Howard took some pics and some vids of the burn out contest. I'll get them posted when I get rested.
It's good to be Home:banana:

I came back through the Mobile Bay tunnel today and shot a little video as I passed under. Not very good quality, but I was filming with one hand, steering with the other, dodging traffic, and trying to keep Go_rila under control (which wasn't that easy) when he decides to break the tires loose on the downshift. But it's free. :D
