I heard a good saying.
"Nitrous is like a hot chick with a STD, you really want to hit it but afraid of what will happen if you do."

i havent sprayed the L (YET) but I am spraying my 91 mustang and I have sprayed about 15-20 bottles through it and it hasnt hurt a thing. Just have to make sure that you have a strong enough bottom end and the correct fuel to nitrous mixture

The thing about spraying an L is the fact that you're adding a power adder (N2O) on top of a power adder(S/C). It CAN be done with success, BUT You had damn well better know exactly what you're doing!! (especially on an otherwise stock motor.)
Nitrous is an ALL or NOTHING proposition. It's either ON or OFF. There is NO in between. Even "just" a 75 shot will produce in excess of 600 lb/ft of tq (at the wheels) with a 4lb lower and mild bolt-ons.:eek2: It hits ALL AT ONCE, and when coupled with the incoming boost of the S/C, produces some incredible cylinder pressures. If EVERYTHING is not in a perfect state of tune(fuel/timing/ignition), then the aforementioned cylinder pressures can and will cause any "weak" link in the engine to fail. In our case, this will be the connecting rods.
All I'm saying is be extremely careful and conscientious of every little aspect of your combo when spraying an L. It CAN be done, but ask anyone who sprays their L, and I'm sure they'll tell you that the possibility of rod failure is something that is always (at the very least) in the back of their mind!:evil
