A buddy of mine is an announcer out there and I had lunch with him today. He said thay had a huge event scheduled for tonight and he was afraid they were cancelling because of rain. He also said he loves when the L's show up because of the element of surprise they add to the races :tu:. I told him to keep an eye out for TALON decals.

Yeah, they are having the Pro Mod races tonight. But their site says they are still running all cars...
The forecast says it is raining there now... But I just want one run! :bows

Yep its ProMod night out there tonight if they get to run. It starting sprinkling here in Arlington at lunch and its been on and off since.
It would be a great night to spectate- those things run a sub 4 sec 1/8:eek2: and they get very squirrelly going down the track- you better be paying attention if your watching from half track to the big end

I went to hallsville hehe... It tried to sprinkle but failed.. The track was quite slippery cause it had rained there earlier today...
I have a new best but no one can verify it :evil

Yah post the dad gummed slip...that's verification enough for me. Hell....just tell us the times, that will work too.

1/8 = 8.466
1/4 = 13.055
MPH = 106.82
I got a real bad start... track was slippery all night..

It was high 58 degrees out.. I'm hoping the weather stays cool long enough for me to get into the 12's... IMO, the truck had a 12.8 with good radial traction. Maybe 12.7 with slicks..
When the heat comes, I'm sure I'll be stuck in the 13's still..

Congrats Sayle:banana: :banana: :banana: . Post it on the times list. Get that 60 down and your easy in the 12's.
The MPH was from slipping. I couldn't tell you why it happens, but everytime I spin going down the track, my MPH goes up.
What was the outdoor temp?

Thanks! I trapped at at 104 stock with my 13.1 run with a 1.9 60ft.. The truck is much stronger now, I think I will be able to trap at 106-7 with a 1.9 60ft. But that 1.9 60ft is going to be more of a challenge with my extra power goin down to the ground...
