gotta give props to Bobby...

he found that my boost bypass mod was crimped up... the pink hose was pushed too far into the 'elbow' and wasnt allowing for full boost... so im glad it was very simple fix.... and also glad to see everything is square now...

thanks again guys for putting up with my stupid posts all the time... i was just alittle paranoid!!!

p.s. i think the boost bypass has been like that for a while... nice to see the SC is actually WORKING now... knana

one more thing to add...

just talked to Sal over at PSP... hes gonna redo my chip for me... he said not only because of the port, but the program i have is a little old and on the conservitive side... he said the timing is set at 16 degrees... is that good or what??

when i got my truck dynod on Saturday... the a/f ratio printout started at about 15 and fell to 11.6....

is that good or can i afford to go a little more leaner??

also, dont know how acurate that is cuz of my boost problem at the time, maybe should do again before i get it reprogrammed?? you tink i should?

If your boost was down when you did the dyno, the A/F could have been running a little rich.

I would recommend you ask Sal at PSP about what makes for a good timing and A/F.

His A/F was real rich!

11.7 is really not all that rich for 16 degrees of timing. The only thing I would question, is the accuracy of his dyno pulls. I think he would be well served to get 3 more pulls with everything working properly before spending the time changing the tune. Then Sal would have some good base numbers to work with.

I agree with that! I thought his A/F was alittle lower than that.
