Hey all!,
This is in response to a previous thread I posted concerning an engine noise I was/am experiencing. Terry-sorry we couldn't get together last week for you to look at it (d@!m work keeping me from playing). http://www.f150online.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25774&highlight=Strange+Engine+Flutter
This thread has some input from other L owners who experience this problem.
Supposedly it is an exhaust leak and Ford is aware of it. It apparently hinders many of us L owners. I've been concerned with rocker/piston slap and have been driving my L like it was a 3 cyl metro. I will be going to the dealer this week for a look.
Some guys were asking for some feedback on this topic and just wanted to give a heads up.
