View Full Version : Almost time for exhaust (for real this time)

Terry, I know i have asked you a few times, but I honestly forgot what you said. My brakes are squeling pretty bad, so I gotta do that next, but then after that is time to redo my exhaust... tired of having 400hp but sounding like a pansy...

Im not exactly sure what I want. I know in the FUTURE, i would like long tubes, but not in the budget right now... so I was thinking of something in the mean time that will interact with the long tubes down the road.....

I currently have a set of magnaflow high flow cats that I would like to install. My current mufflers are flowmaster and i havent heard much good about them from anyone.... so i was thinking of doing your WILD setup....

so basically...

1. how much to just install the high flow cats and rip out ALL 4 stock cats?
2. how much for WILD setup and install high flow cats
3. how long will it take?

and how do you think it will sound with the WILD and high flow cats? im hoping pretty good... i dont expect much performance gains.... mainly just want it for the sound.... but while im asking.... do you think i will notice any performance gains if i switch OUT of the flowmaster and add cats/

It would be $175 to build new pipes for the hi flows and regular $350 for the wild system. It would sound loud, aggressive, and most of all unruly. It would pop on decel noticably. You shouldn't loose too much power.
