I know this point has been batted around a bit lately, but I've been hearing that gas prices are going up.
I gassed up on 93 at a Shell in The Colony today and here are my numbers:
$40 total gas bill.
21.991 gallons.
$1.819 / gal.
272.6 miles.
12.395 miles/gallon ?!? :( This was the Kennedale road-trip tank (from Frisco) with a fairly heavy foot since then and back-forth to McKinney today.
Here's more on the gas prices: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4593387/

Yup... It hurts. Especially in the wallet. But none of us bought them for the gas milage or the gas bills. We bought them cause we can't stop grinnin when we put the metal to the pedal!

I bought mine when I had a company vehicle with free gas card and a 28mpg Vette to drive. Now only the L is left and it does hurt..

Samsclub at I-30/Eastchase exit has 93 octane for $1.70. If you're a Samsclub member it was $1.65 yesterday.
My 95 gets about 12 city 16 hwy. My worktruck gets about 11 , the wifes Xterra gets 14 and our family car gets about 22. :)
You can guess which one has been getting driven the most lately.
I talked to my Father yesterday who lives in SoCal told me that the Exxon near his house was selling Premium for $2.89  up until Saturday he was driving a V10 Excursion but traded it for an E320 Wagon. He couldn't even fill the tank of the Excursion on one transaction because the pump stops at $50.
Last night I saw a sign at the Kroger grocery in Hurst that read: 99cent gas with grocery purchase. Yes, the Kroger at Hwy26 and Preceinct line has gas pumps.
I may go have a closer look at that today.

About 2 years ago I tried gas from the albertsons gas station at Hebron and Old denton. They always have LOW prices and I have NEVER had a problem with pinging from the 93 -

I put 10 gallons in the L yesterday after picking it up from Terry......just over 18 bucks:eek: .
Then I had to gas up my daily driver.....25 gallons for a real heart stopper at 45 bucks. I just can't wait to see the company gas bill for this month. I may have under estimated the gas budget for this year:rolleyes: .
Rocks:(

Yup I picked up 5 gallons of fuel last week and the total out the door was 41.75.
And to top it off I only got about 2mpg with that gas... :hammer:
But it was C16 of course :D When I got to the track I had WAY too much 93 just to mix in 5 gallons 104 or 110, so I decided to be safe and put some c16 in it.

I drove around on E until I found a Albertson gas pump. I saved 3 cents a gallon with the member card and it was a 1.74 with discount. It sounds good as well:tu:
