I found a set of magnaflows that are 2.5 in and out with x-pipe and tips for $220. How will this sound compared to the wild system? Will the x-pipe make the sound deeper?

Will the x-pipe make the sound deeper? It depends which series and size the body of the muffler is. They make a few dozen 2.5" in/out mufflers. The x pipe will mellow and quiet the tone.

My roommate just came home from shcool and he said that a guy in his class has a regular f150 w/4.6 motor and has a set of duel exhaust with a set of 1 chamber flows. How would the one chambers hurt our trucks since I have heard that flowmaster is not good on our trucks but I am looking for a very deep sound at wot and idel as well. I was supposed to go to ennis last sunday but had some family bussiness to attend to that afternoon and was unable to get out there and hear some of the trucks with the wild setup on it.
P.S.
I like the c5 vette and the directed amp, good choice in amps had them in my ranger for my stero was the best amp ever owned.

I haven't done any Flows on a Lightning except for removing them. One chambers I assume would be very rough and crackly. If all you have is a chip pulley and filter any muffler won't make much difference good or bad.

I have been hearing that if I put one chamber flows with x-pipe will be hella loud and that is what Im looking for. With out the x-pipe they say it will have the same thing you were saying about the ruff and crackly sound. They say that would not need to go to high flow cats at all will be mean as hell already. A dude on NLOC ( most tards on that website as I have found out) said his buddys L has one chamber flows with the x-pipe from mark at LFP and sounds damn good. Not getting exhaust done right away still need to get my plugs ordered and a chip so I can get my pullie, shift kit and gears put in. So I can really fell the night/day diffrence with and without the chip.
