Went to Denton Friday night and met up with Sayle and Tim who were representing the Blurple Ls. This was my first time to run at a track ever. This is my quickest run of the night.
Reaction---1.0332
60 ft------2.0055
330 ft-----5.6735
1/8 ET----8.7046
1/8 MPH--80.99
The reaction time sucked, but by the end of the night, I was consistantly keeping it below .65 with a best of .515. I was hoping to get down to a 8.69 ET, but it just didn't happen. I've been around the 1/4 mile for a good part of my life, and I have a good feel for the times. As for 1/8... well, those times don't mean much to me. So after some research, it looks like my 8.7046 is about a 13.4 - 13.55 in the quarter. Not too bad for my first time in a STOCK L. And after looking at the quickest 1/8 mile times on this board, I must say that I am pleased with how the truck performed.
Oh, and a big thanks to Sayle and Tim for giving me some pointers. Also, a big thanks to Tim for taking care of the rice that parked in front of us!:rll:
