Well Dennis, Michael gets another pole for tomorrows race. Its his 59th with only Ayrton Senna having 65 in front of him. This is the man that puts more into his driving than anyone else and it shows.. No wonder Ferrari pays him $100 million a year to drive 16 races. Not bad money..

No doubt about it, he is the best driver in the world. And the Ferrari isn't even the best product out there.

Did you catch the start? Trulli blew by everyone, incredible. It only lasted as long as the first pit stop but it was great to watch.

Dennis, you watching today?

Yep. Qualifying was interesting. Actually, that is the most unpredictable part of Formula One this year (if you exclude Schumacher). What's up with Mclaren?

I think you along with a lot of others are asking the same thing on McLaren. It wasnt that long ago that they had the hottest cars on the track and even the Ferraris couldnt keep up. Mika and David were finishing 1-2 and by a healthy margin. But the Renault's and Hondas look to be doing pretty good right now. The BMWs seem to be having reliability problems.

Did you listen to some of the proposed changes? Trying to lower the tech side of the sport, I would call it the "IRL" move. Less horsepower, spec grade tires, no traction control, etc.. I like it because it is the epitomy of motorsports.

Oh yeah, if you recorded it, did you see at the beginning, where Jeff Gordon and his teammate were in Spain as the guests of the Jaguar folks? hmmmm.

Well, Michael wins another one with an unconventional 4 pit stop strategy. At the end of the race, he had to stretch out his lead to 20 seconds to be able to stay ahead of Alonso for his pit stop. Well he drove B***s to the walls and did it, coming out comfortably ahead of Alonso and drove it home for the win. And the last pit stop was 5.8 seconds long with a full tire change. :eek2: He just needed a splash of gas to get him to the end.
And then Rubens Barrichello (sp?) passed up Jarno Trulli to get third place on virtually the last corner, that was fantastic racing. Michael now has 70 wins in F1, absolutely amazing.
