My St. Bernard's Progress

For those of you that are interested, I figured I'd post up how far the dog has come since September.

Here she is the night we got her. She weighed in at a whopping 7 pounds at 7 weeks of age. The tiles she is laying on are 12"x12".

Well, this is a pic taken a few days ago. For point of reference, the dog house is 6' tall at the peak, and that is a regulation-sized soccer ball, which she can pick up and carry around. She weighs in at 75lbs at 9 months of age.

We're expecting her to reach approximately 150lbs by 18 months. Right now she eats a 40lb bag of dry dog food and 12 12oz cans of moist dog food in the course of about 3 weeks, and she's still skinny! I'll keep you posted.

She looks happy, she is not as fluffy or round as I expected. She kind of looks like a large Britney dog. Thanks for the update.

Cute dogger! How do Bernards handle the TX. summers? Trimming and A/C ?

I'm sure Uncle Rocks can hook you up with an A/C setup for the doghouse. :D
