Gen 1 Info please...

As many of y'all know, I bought a '95 G1 351 for my car... the engine is in place and everything is being hooked up... it's now time for oil.... I'll be using Castrol GTX, but not sure if the Gen1s require 5w30 or 10w40... someone help me out here... Steve.. you ought know the answer to this one...

10W30 Castrol Syntec for the last 3-4 years. I was running Valvoline 10W30 synth before that since the 3rd oil change. Ahhh the memories. :)

10w30 Castrol GTX it is then... thanks for the info guys.

I'll keep y'all informed on the project... so far, so good, but looks like there maybe some interference between the hood and the upper intake. That 351 with a 1" intake spacer, GT40 intake, and additional deck height is about 3" taller than my previous set up..

btw.. Steve.... Amsoil??? :nono:
