Well for those of you that know what I was in route to get, I got it.
1995 Gen 1 "Pro Street" with less then 56,000 actual miles. MAN, I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!!! The pictures that I have seen of it didn't do it justice at all. The truck is simply put "FLAWLESS"!!!! I made the trip to Indiana Wedsnesday night and made it back 4 a.m. Friday. I got her out Friday evening and made some rounds. I kept it easy since the carb. needs some tuning. But she has good road manners. This motor lopes like there is no tomorrow. It shakes the whole cab when at idle. There is really not enough words to describe this truck, you would just have to see it in person. Anyways, just letting you guys know I finally have a Gen 1.

Later,
Justin

welcome back to the L board. Are you gonna come around to show it off? I've seen Shane posting pictures on the f-150 board showing off the truck. He still calls it the blackwell truck.

Yeah, I will get around ya'lls way sometime. I am thinking about driving the truck to the city. Don't know how much gas I would burn. Don't have an overdrive trans. Will just take a while to get there I guess.

Yea I call it that still :) Blackwell put forth loads of time, money, and frustration building this truck. I tried for months to talk him out of selling the truck... then said to hell with it, and purchased it myself ROFL... I have some time, and some money in the truck so far getting it closer to finished and ready to run... however not NEAR the time or effort Blackwell put into it.

and now you know... the rest of the story
