Ennis Rainout Reschedule
Posted by Dan Thompson (dthompson@servmartinc.com) on 5/11/2004, 12:06 pm Contrary to the rumors:the continuation of the Ennis(rainout of March 28)race will take place as scheduled on Saturday May 15. Gates open 8am,racing starts at 9am. There will be no events/timetrials etc. for anyone already eliminated from competition-earlier it had been reported that there may be some bracket added-not to be! Since Race of Champions had not started-substitutions are OK-but only substitutions-in other words the number of racers can not increase.
I think there were four in eliminations and two in Race of Champions.
Dennis
Howard
Bobby
Myself
Are you guys going?
Also, the results for the last two events have been posted.

I'm still going Biatch!!:tu:
I was on for the Race of Champions. But I don't want to go suite up for racing and run down the track once for no points.
If they have some sort of test and tune afterward, that would make it worth it...
If anyone wants to race in race of champions is welcome to take my spot. Probably someone still in elminations or someone that doesn't have to gear up.

Well, made it to the finals in both Street Muscle and Race of Champions at Ennis today. Lost both. The truck ran pretty well all day, but was less consistant than I have seen recently. Probably because we were at Ennis instead of an 1/8th mile track.
In the Street finals, my opponent hit his dial on the nose (15.71 on a 15.71) with a .o36 reaction. I had a reaction of .090 so I was basically locked out. I finished in front, but had to break out to do it.
My reaction times in the ROC were .043, .030, .045, and .052 with a -.014 red light in the final.
A fun day altogether. Bobby and Tom set new personal bests and Howard made it to the quarterfinal in Stock. Come to think of it, Popeye set a new personal best by .01 with a 15.19 in the ROC final.
