I don't know if you're being serious or just :bs ing, but, for me, this oursourcing thing has hit hard in my industry.

There are tons of IT guys here in the states being put out of work by this trend. I lurque on alot of the IT/outsourcing boards and they're hiring Informatica people in India like crazy for $3,400/year (US Dollars) ! :eek2:

I'll tell you another thing - just reading their posts, they have little comprehension of the English language and the technology thrown at them - I've even interviewed them. They ask the most basic tech. questions and THEY are the ones getting the work. I've worked with plenty Hindi even state-side in the past, and they're clueless!

You can probably relate to this - I've even read a report a while back about Pakis hitting the OTR/long-haul trucking industry and them running smaller business'/operators out of business b/c they can "cram" more drivers in there and run the rig longer at a cheaper rate.

Just my $.02.
